The Hope Hippo by Allora & Calzadilla for the Aspen Art Museum's show, Restless Empathy, in 2010 was indeed the same and a challenging request to produce.


PRODUCTION
Production brings art to life.
The Aspen Art Museum curators employed our founder and resident artist, Brian Howard, to produce the Aspen version of the Allora & Calzadilla sculpture, The Hope Hippo, for their 2010 Restless Empathy show.

The staw bales and cob process was similar to working in clay for bronze casting.



Hasty in Dillon CO, is a bronze sculpture in honor of the avalanche dog from Copper Mountain Ski Resort.
Wood construction and hand carved architecture accents have been produced as well. A wine rack for a resturant in Frisco, CO.





Mahagony was used for the wine rack. The hand carved skiing cabinet doors are of alder and finished via torch burnishing.



Abstract products include carvings in the round. As well as cast aluminum.






Production includes archival framed works on paper. Gravity#1 and #2 are numbered open edition works.




Production includes music production. Original music, live events, sound recording. Merchandise production includes band tee shirts and tour bus photographic prints.



RESTORATION
Restoration brings art to life.
Outdoor works are exposed to climate effects, both sun and water. Utilizing standards based on the US Parks Department.
